It is not always necessary, as with the import mostly Chinese (passed off as different) swim spa pools, to have access from all sides. By the pool, you only need to go from one short side. This also means considerable savings on the preparation of a recessed swim spa pool. For the surface version of the swim spa pool, a flat surface is sufficient.
